Here at Frank Gavin Photography, giving back to our community is of utmost importance to us. Every year, we do a least one charity event, and over the years we've had the privilege of helping many organisations such as the Dogs' Aid, the Jack and Jill Foundation, Temple Street, Laura Lynn and many more.
Our most recent event was in aid of Dogs' Aid Animal Sanctuary, which is a non profit charity organisation in Ballymun. They care for and re-home abandoned cats and dogs across the country, and they never put a healthy dog down. Thanks to you (and your furry friends), we managed to raise €1250! This was more than we ever imagined and we couldn't have been happier to give the money to such an amazing cause.
So without further ado, we are delighted to announce our newest charity event in aid of the NICU in the Rotunda Hospital, Dublin. We are teaming up with Marc Laycock, founder of the Mark Anthony Leo Laycock Fundraiser. Marc came into our studio a few months ago to get photographs taken of his beautiful daughters. It was then that he told us about his fundraiser, which he founded in loving memory of his son Mark who was cared for in the NICU. They hold fundraising events every year to raise vital funds for the NICU, and we at Frank Gavin's decided to team up with them and raise funds together!
Since the 1950's, the NICU has provided care to ill and premature infants. In view of the fact that roughly 10% of all babies born will need to be given neonatal care, the NICU is a hugely important unit and it's safe to say the staff are all providing a brilliant service to new born babies and their parents.
The event will take place from the 27th of June to the 8th of July, and is €25. This includes a mini session in our studio, and a 5x7 photograph (usually retailing at €50). Also, 100% of your money will be going to Friends of the Rotunda Hospital, in aid of the NICU!
We're already off to a brilliant start with the gorgeous Adriana and Andrea, who posed together with teddy bears for their brother Mark, who was cared for in the NICU. As well as that, we had lovely little Myles who is just eight days old!
What better way to capture beautiful memories of your families, friends, kids or even pets than to do so while helping such a brilliant cause. Book your appointment today by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 01-8304955
